We purchased this heifer in 2009 at Bullis Creek Ranch’s spring sale as the top pick of the Mulberry heifers.  RED FINE LINE MULBERRY 26P may be the hottest bull in the breed today with his progeny topping sales all over the United States.  BCRR SURPRISE 803U is a tank of a heifer and deep-ribbed with loads of capacity.  Her dam MPPA is a whopping 107.6.  With six EPD traits in the top 25%, you can see why we had no intentions of selling this heifer.  We have too many cattle going into the winter and decided to sell her.  She is confirmed bred to our BDEE DIRECT TICKET 7077 (Reg. # 1192564) herd sire who is our calving ease specialist with a -5.0 birth weight EPD.

Ron Lytle with Brandee Cattle Company purchased LSF MATTIE 8021 339 in 2004 from Ludvigson Stock Farms’ “Focus on Females” sale as the top selling bred heifer for $10,000 and put her in the donor pen.  Her first calf became a donor cow within the Brandee program and sold at their dispersal sale for $12,000 to R.A. Brown Ranch in Throckmorton, TX.  Mattie 339 has produced many donor cows and herd bulls across the breed.  BAR G MATTIE W339 promises to follow this tradition and is sure to enter someone’s donor pen.  She is a deep-ribbed, long-bodied, calf with a lot of capacity.  Just look at her growth, maternal and carcass EPDs with five traits of economic performance in the top 10%.  She is definitely the front pasture kind.  The Mattie cow family with origins from the Bootjack Ranch is one of the most prolific cow families in the breed.

Ron Lytle with Brandee Cattle Company purchased Della W104 in 2004 from Ludvigson Stock Farms’ “Focus on Females” sale as a bred heifer for $4,000 and put her in the donor pen.  Ludvigsons have successfully bred the Della cow family for years.  BAR G DELLA W104 is one of our top heifers and very much a donor prospect.  She is long-bodied with style and performance.  Her sire, LJC MISSION STATEMENT P27, is projected to soon lead the breed in registrations.  You definitely will want to take a look at this calf.

BDEE 641 is what many Red Angus breeders would consider the model cow.  She is moderate framed and long-bodied with considerable capacity.  The Cherabell cow family has been well respected within the breed for years.  Six of the economic traits are all in the top 10% of the breed, and look at BDEE 641’s dam MPPA of 109.2.

We purchased SIS DINA DIVISION 7416 from Speer and Speer Red Angus as the “pick of the heifer crop” in 2007.  The calf really stood out in the herd and was an easy first pick.  DINA W416 sired by Buffalo Creek Chief phenotypically is one of our top heifer calves this year.  She could easily go straight to your breeding herd or the tanbark.
